Chester Zoo is set in 110 acres of beautiful, award winning gardens and is host to over 7000 animals and more than 400 species of exotic and unusual wildlife. World class exhibits ensure the welfare of the animals is paramount and you can learn about the zoos ongoing conservation projects.
Kids can make use of the play areas located throughout the grounds and the whole family can enjoy a leisurely trip on a water bus from which you can view the zoo from afloat.
The new "Islands" are also a new adventure, featuring elephants and giraffes in their own surroundings.
